These Terms of Service govern your use of DecodeThisJob (decodethisjob.com), operated by Garnet Grid Consulting LLC. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Service

DecodeThisJob provides AI-powered analysis of publicly available job posting text. You may use the tool for personal career research purposes. You agree not to:

• Use automated scripts or bots to make bulk API requests beyond normal individual usage
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the analysis output without written permission
• Submit proprietary or confidential content not intended for public analysis
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the analysis engine

2. Disclaimer of Warranties

DecodeThisJob provides interpretive analysis of public job posting language. This analysis represents informed inference, not guaranteed fact. Job posting meaning, company culture, and role expectations may differ from what the language suggests. We make no warranty that our analysis accurately reflects the actual work environment, compensation practices, or expectations of any specific employer.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Access continues through the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

4. Intellectual Property

The DecodeThisJob name, analysis methodology, and interface are proprietary to Garnet Grid Consulting LLC. Job posting text you submit remains the property of the original poster. Analysis output generated by our tool is provided for your personal use.

5. Limitation of Liability

Garnet Grid Consulting LLC shall not be liable for any employment decisions made based on our analysis, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability shall not exceed amounts paid by you in the 3 months preceding a claim.

6. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at hello@garnetgrid.com to attempt informal resolution. Disputes not resolved informally within 30 days shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to DecodeThisJob at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, abuse of the analysis service, or non-payment of applicable fees. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. We are not obligated to provide advance notice before suspension or termination where we believe you have violated these Terms.

8. Modification of Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms at this URL with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice via email (to registered accounts) or via a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of DecodeThisJob after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the service.

9. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Garnet Grid Consulting LLC regarding your use of DecodeThisJob and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
